No, you do not need to provide an invoice or serial number for your lock. However, when filing a theft claim, you will need to:
- Send us all the keys for the lock.
- If you have accidentally lost one of your keys, we kindly ask you to send us the original as well as the copy (you can request a copy made at a hardware shop)
If you have lost both of your keys, you will need to purchase another lock with its respective keys.
Can I use an older lock?
Yes, using an older lock is fine as long as the lock is certified. This will not affect the outcome of your claim.
